[Skin Care] Winter Skin Care? Jojoba oil & cream is all you need!

100% jojoba oil

The biggest characteristic of jojoba oil is that it has a structure very similar to sebum secreted by the human body. Therefore, when applied, it does not stick to the skin and the risk of side effects or allergic reactions is very low. It also contains vitamins A, D, E, minerals, and omega 6 and 9, which provide moisturizing and nutrition, improve and soothe the skin barrier, and provide anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects.

Jojoba oil is a vegetable oil obtained by pressing the seeds of the jojoba tree. This tree grows naturally in desert areas such as California, Arizona, and Mexico, and it is said that native people used jojoba seed oil as a wound treatment.

It hardens at low temperatures below about 7℃, and remains liquid when stored at room temperature. Unlike other oils, it does not easily oxidize, so there is less risk of deterioration and the storage period is long. Plus the price is very reasonable!

It varies depending on the supply of raw materials, manufacturing process, brand value, and capacity, but you will never be unable to use it due to cost.

Jojoba coating’ on areas of the body where cracks are a concern.

Jojoba is also perfect for dry and cracked nails, cuticles, hair tips, heels, and elbows. Of course, you can easily find products specialized for each area, but it is true that it is cumbersome to have all of these and use them every time. All you need is jojoba oil and cream on your dressing table or bathroom. In my case, I recently placed jojoba oil on my office desk. Even now, before writing this sentence, I applied jojoba oil to my cuticles and let the remaining amount absorb into my entire hand. Applying jojoba oil regularly to areas suffering from atopic dermatitis or psoriasis will relieve itchy symptoms.

‘Safe moisturizing’ for children

Children's skin has a short 'turnover' cycle and has excellent regenerative ability, so even in the middle of winter, it is enough to simply apply the cream you use a little more thickly without adding additional products. However, when the wind is particularly strong or dry, some special care is needed.

In times like this, Jojoba becomes a relief pitcher. It is good to use on the face and entire body as the first moisturizer after bathing. If your cheeks or the backs of your hands are red, try applying jojoba oil and cream on its own instead of ointment.
